Items in the gallery are not for sale, however, I’d be happy to talk with you about custom ordering an item that you like. The gallery items are all one of kind pieces made for a specific person, many of them were only made once. I am happy to make a similar piece for you, but please keep in mind, no 2 items will be exactly the same. If you would like to talk about having a piece custom made for you, click Contact in the upper left corner and send me a message about what you would like. You can be as detailed or as vague as you like, I will contact you either way to get a better idea of what you would like made so I am better able to write a quote for you.
These are customized toy storage bins to fit a particular space. They used store bought storage bins (the white cabinets) and I build tops and bases for them. They were roughed up on the edges and surfaces to make them appear old and well used. The bench was designed to be sat on to read, be used as a play area, or to store those large toys that don’t fit in bins.
This is a personalized Bokken, a wooden practice version of a Japanese Katana. The Bokken I make weigh about 1/3 of what most Bokken weigh making them a great choice for kids and adults looking for a Bokken that is easier to manipulate. You are able to choose the length, amount of curve, the shape of the tsuba (hand guard), and wood or woods used (or you ask for colors of wood and I’ll go from there). You can have your Bokken personalized with your name and or an insignia or logo. If you own an academy, I would be happy to engrave your academy logo. If you are a student, I would ask for written permission from your academy owner before using the academy’s logo.
This is an example of a woven charcuterie board engraved with a company logo. To protect the board from moisture, personalized engravings are filled with epoxy. You can choose to fill the engraving with either clear or colored epoxy.
This is a custom chess board I made for my son. His favorite color is purple so I made the frame out of purple heart.
You can choose the size of the board, woods for the field (woods obviously need to be contrasting colors) and the wood for the frame. I do not suggest purple heart for the frame because it made this board very heavy.
Woven charcuterie boards can be a one of a kind piece of art for your home. Your guests will love the unique shapes and designs in these boards. If you would like to order one you get to select the woods or wood colors you would like, the rough size you want, handle type and of course, you can have it personalized with your name or a company logo!
This is a retirement gift for a United States Army Soldier. I covered the name and the personal quote on the plaque but just about anything can be engraved in the 2 spaces next to the sword handle.
This particular piece is a Roman Rudis or the Sword of Freedom. It was given to Gladiators when the earned their freedom. The Rudis is made from black walnut and highly figured curly maple. The plaque is made from black walnut and engraved with the soldier’s unit and insignia (the crossed cannons) and there is plenty of space on the sides of the sword handle for personalization. This one had the soldiers rank and name on the left, and personal quote on the right. All the engravings are filled with a gold colored epoxy, but can easily be filled with other colors to match a company patch or even to replicate the recipient’s service ribbons.
If I am making one of these for you, please know that there will be A LOT of communication during the build. These are as special to me as they are to you and the brave men and women receiving them. These are highly personalized and I want to make sure that every aspect matches what you expect to gift.
